We share photographs, videos, repair and remediation work, communications, public records, and other documentation relating to our experience.

Where can I find Zappico reviews and homeowner experiences?

This site provides an overview of our own homeowner experience. The complete and continually updated documentation is available on the @ZappicoFails Instagram account, including photographs, videos, documents, and ongoing updates.

Is this site affiliated with Zappico Construction or Zappico Real Estate?

No. ZappicoFails is an independent homeowner site and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Zappico Construction, Zappico Real Estate, or any related company.

Why does this site mention Westchester County and Greenwich, Connecticut?

Our home and firsthand experience are in Westchester County, New York. We also include Fairfield County and Greenwich, Connecticut, because Zappico operates and markets new-construction projects in the surrounding New York and Connecticut area.

Does this site cover both Zappico Construction and Zappico Real Estate?

Yes. People researching the Zappico name may encounter both Zappico Construction and Zappico Real Estate. This site uses those names where relevant so prospective homeowners can more easily find information relating to our experience.

Is ZappicoFails intended to provide legal or professional advice?

No. The site documents our homeowner experience and provides information we believe may be useful to others conducting their own research. It is not legal, engineering, architectural, or other professional advice.

Is there pending litigation concerning the home profiled?

Yes. There is pending litigation concerning our home and our dispute with Zappico. Certain matters discussed on ZappicoFails are also the subject of that litigation. Where appropriate, we identify allegations, disputed issues, and public court records as such. Nothing on this site is intended to suggest that a court has made findings on matters that remain unresolved.

Is the information on ZappicoFails true?

We publish information that is accurate and supported by our firsthand experience, photographs, videos, communications, invoices, construction records, public records, or other documentation.

Why do you publish court records and litigation information?

Court filings and other public records can provide important context concerning a homeowner dispute. When we reference litigation, we aim to describe the public record accurately and to distinguish allegations from judicial findings.

Why call it ZappicoFails?

Because subtlety was already taken. 😂

The name reflects our opinion of our own homeowner experience and is not intended to suggest that every Zappico project or homeowner experience is the same.

Did you really make an entire website about this?

Apparently. When we were researching our builder, we would have found a documented homeowner experience useful. This site makes ours easier for prospective homeowners to find.

Wait — you actually LIVE in this house?

Yep. This is our home, not a construction-site photo shoot. Some of the conditions we encountered required repair and remediation after Zappico left the project, and certain issues remain unresolved or disputed. We document the conditions, repairs, and ongoing aftermath on @ZappicoFails.
